Jennifer Lawrence Stuns in Bold Look at 2026 Golden Globes and Opens Up About Motherhood

Jennifer Lawrence made sure no one forgot her name at the 2026 Golden Globes.

When the 35-year-old actress stepped onto the red carpet in Los Angeles on January 11, all eyes were on her bold fashion choice. This time, she skipped the safe and simple looks she’s worn in the past and went for something much more daring.

Jennifer stunned in a sheer, plunging Givenchy gown with dramatic side cutouts and delicate floral designs placed in just the right spots. The look reminded many fans of Beyoncé’s iconic “naked dress” from the 2015 Met Gala. She completed the outfit with a soft blush shawl that matched the embroidery on her gown. Her hair and makeup stayed classy and glowing, thanks to her longtime glam team.

While chatting with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, Jennifer joked about how her outfit might influence her night plans.

“I’m already this exposed, so I might as well go to the afterparties,” she laughed. She also shared that her kids weren’t exactly thrilled about her heading out. “They’d rather I stayed home,” she said with a smile.

Lawrence is nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in Die My Love, where she stars alongside Robert Pattinson. In the film, she plays Grace, a new mom struggling with postpartum depression.

The role hit close to home for Jennifer, who is also a mother of two. She shares a 3-year-old son, Cy, and a 9-month-old baby boy with her husband, Cooke Maroney. In a previous interview, she explained how becoming a mom helped her understand the emotional depth of her character.

After her second child, Jennifer said she experienced postpartum anxiety more intensely than the first time. She admitted that the fear was overwhelming.

“I kept thinking something bad had happened whenever my baby slept,” she shared. “I worried I was doing everything wrong.”

Jennifer has also been open about how her body changed after her pregnancies. While she felt her body bounced back after her first child, she joked that the second time was a different story.

Despite the challenges, Jennifer continues to shine both on screen and on the red carpet. From powerful performances to fearless fashion, she’s proving that motherhood hasn’t slowed her down one bit.
